Room For Cream Please! Local Collective Company is Making Sure Local Coffee Companies Have Room on Wal-Mart Shelves Too

Local Collective

Local Collective is bringing local to the masses and empowering local coffee roasters by giving them a way to be stocked on Walmart’s shelves in dedicated local sections.

  • Aroma Advocates: It’s definitely a two cup kind of day when you are a business owner and you want to get your products onto Walmart’s shelves. There’s a jolly java company that is helping local coffee businesses do just that. Simply put, Local Collective will help get coffee roasters’ products on Wal-Mart store shelves in the same neck of the woods as their coffee houses.

  • But First, Coffee: Local Collective has done the leg work of convincing Walmart of the importance of featuring a locally roasted section of coffee beans and other products on the coffee aisle. Topeca Coffee in Tulsa is pumped about the perk. “My Mother-in-law’s family has been growing coffee since about 1850. It is such an honor to now be able to work with Walmart,” said Topeca Co-Owner Chip Gaberino. If you live in the Tulsa area keep your eye out next time you pick up groceries, and you’ll see a variety of Topeca’s brews in the coffee aisle.
