A Claremore Restaurant is Offering Jobs to Those Displaced by a Fire

Gibby C’s

Gibby C’s is a new restaurant that opened in Claremore with bittersweet news to share.

  • Hope for the Holidays: While being excited about the new cajun style dining location in Claremore, Gibby C’s owners have a heavy but open heart. They are offering jobs to anyone who was displaced by the fire at Molly’s Landing in Catoosa last week. Because of the fire 22 employees were left without a job.

  • South in Your Mouth: Carly Gibson has a fully staffed kitchen as it is, but she says she will make room for new employees who want to share in her joy of sharing cajun culinary creations like voodoo chicken, shrimp and grits and blackened ribeye.

City of Tulsa Honors Sister Cities With New City Hall Sign

Tulsa Daily

Tulsa City leaders are saying welcome to the family with a new sign outside City Hall dedicated to all 8 of our sister cities.

  • We Are Family: You can’t miss the large corner sign with 8 different directional banners pointing toward Tulsa's eight international sister cities. The new sign, which is Tulsa’s fifth, was installed in honor of the late Cathy Izzo, who served as the Sister Cities Program Coordinator for Tulsa Global Alliance for 17 years.

  • Sister Sister: Stop by and see the sign that is located on the corner of 2nd and Cincinnati right outside the main entrance of Tulsa City Hall. Tulsa recently added a ninth sister city in Mwanza, the second-largest city in Tanzania.
