Up Up and Away, All Oklahoma Teams Were On the Road Saturday, Two Came Home With a Win

OU and TU ran for the win Saturday while OSU was faced with a tough test.

• Oklahoma Teams Turned Up the Heat Saturday: #16 Ranked OU welcomed Cincinnati to the Big 12 Conference Saturday. The game took place in Cincinnati and the Sooners won 20-6. Dillon Gabriel threw for 322 yards and accounted for 2 touchdowns. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane beat Northern Illinois with a 22-14 win. Anthony Watkins rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown, Kendarin Ray intercepted a pass with 26 seconds left.

• OSU Cowboys Faced With a Tough Test : Iowa State won at home against the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Rocco Becht passed for 348 yards and three touchdowns as Iowa State stopped an Oklahoma State win. The final score was 34-27 Saturday in the Big 12 Conference opener for both teams.
