"Improve our Tulsa" - Take Three

The Journal Record

Tulsa is rolling out the red carpet for the third "Improve our Tulsa" package, and it's up to the city voters to give it a thumbs up or down. This time, the proposal is less "new glitz and glamour" and more "maintenance and upkeep" for our city.

  • Fixer-Upper Focus: This year's package, unlike previous ones, is focusing on city facilities. An allocation of $814 million would go towards capital improvement projects, including $295.8 million for streets and transportation and $270.4 million for city facilities.

  • No Tax Hike, Just Fixes: If approved, the package will address much-needed upgrades, such as a new public safety center, equipment capital, housing, and neighborhoods. The package does not propose any tax increase.

Before casting your vote, check out the details of the "Improve our Tulsa" package HERE.
