It’s a Starry Night. Vincent Van Gogh’s Finest Works are Coming to Life in Tulsa
Have you ever dreamed of stepping into a painting? Now is your chance! Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience is arriving in Tulsa.
Amazing Art: Beyond Van Gogh is a wonderful way to Immerse yourself in a 360º experience where you'll let your senses guide you through the life and works of the most famous Dutch artist in history. It will take you about an hour and a half to get through the exhibit you won’t soon forget.
Experience Excellence: The Immersive experience opens Saturday at the all-new Exhibition Hub Tulsa Art Center which is just off I-44 at 51st Street. You’ll get to travel through 8 Van Gogh works and see their source of inspiration in "A Day in the Life of the Artist in Arles France.” The Digital displays, sound effects, projection mapping, pumpkin art activities for kids of all ages will have you seeing happy hues.

Show and Sew: From taking a pair of jeans in at the waist to fixing a sewing machine, Haning does it all! She’s got an amazing shop in Tulsa and a YouTube channel that will have you ready to break out the Singer sewing machine. On the Sew Show you'll learn all about sewing, clothing alterations, tailoring garments and running a functioning tailor shop.
Behind the Seams: Shaelynn Haning learned how to weld from her father and she says it’s oddly similar to sewing. She specializes in wedding dresses but won’t turn down stitching up a stuffed animal and she’ll show you how to as well in a step by step in a tutorial video.

Route 66 Kicks Into High Gear With New Upgrades To Sites Along the Historic Stretch
Gas up! Or charge up for you electric types, it’s time to see Route 66 in a revved up renovated way.
Gassed Up Grants: Route 66 might look a little different along your drive in coming years. The Tulsa Route 66 Commission announced it will grant more greatness along the Mother Road. The Commission is utilizing funding from the Vision Tulsa Route 66 Revitalization Project to provide a reimbursement incentives of $10,000 to $40,000 for restoration expenses.
Get Your Kicks: The funds will be provided as a match to business owners. Qualifying businesses for this grant must have a wall or piece of the building that faces Route 66. The grant covers repairs and restorations to the outside or historic light fixtures, windows and some roof repairs.
Businesses can apply for the grant and read the full guidelines on the City of Tulsa website.

Tulsa’s Midweek Market Will Be Extra Large Tonight With Hispanic Heritage Night Joining In
As if the outdoor market featuring fresh grown food vendors, arts and crafts for sale and live entertainment couldn’t get any cooler, they’ve added in Hispanic Heritage Night.
Pass the Enchiladas: This week, the market which is located on downtown Tulsa’s Chapman Green will partner with Tulsa’s Global District to welcome more than 40 diverse vendors with an emphasis on more produce. In addition to many returning vendors, there will be a special emphasis on Hispanic vendors selling tacos, bread, apparel, and more. See the Weekly Market vendors and get ready to stock the refrigerator.
Market Music: Forget the grocery store tunes. Tonight’s Weekly Market designed to get you fresh produce on your way out of downtown Tulsa will feature some epic live music with DJ Klave, singer and songwriter David Hernandez and dancer performance by Ballet Folklorico Sol Azteca.
