Quittin’ Time is Back: QT Brings Retro Brew to Life with Marshall Brewing! 🍺

QuikTrip has officially revived its iconic Quittin’ Time Premium Beer, originally introduced in 1977, in collaboration with Tulsa’s own Marshall Brewing Company. Nearly 40 years after its discontinuation, the beer has been reimagined with a modern twist while paying homage to its retro roots.

Launched with a celebratory event at Marshall Brewing’s Tulsa taproom, the new Quittin’ Time offers a light, crisp, and refreshing taste, crafted with high-quality ingredients for today’s beer enthusiasts. Expect to see this retro-inspired brew at your local QuikTrip, with a design that’s perfect for a trucker hat or a throwback Instagram shot.

Turkey Mountain Paved Trail Temporarily Closing for Repairs in February! 🦃⛰️

Starting February 3, Turkey Mountain’s paved trail will close for necessary sewage line repairs, with a planned reopening by summer. The good news? Other trails and amenities at Turkey Mountain will remain open for visitors, and these repairs come at no extra cost to taxpayers.

💡 Key Details:

  • Repairs address a deteriorating sewage line buried beneath the paved trail.

  • Alternative access points: Williams pedestrian bridge, or crossings at 11th, 21st, and 71st Street.

  • Project completion expected by summer 2025.

POPS Celebrates the Opening of Its First Ever Building! 🎊

After 16 years of empowering Tulsa's youth, Pursuit of Prosperity Strategies (POPS) is proud to announce the opening of its very own facility at 5924 E. 31st Street!

Founded in 2009 by Tarell Earl, POPS has been a cornerstone of youth development, offering mentoring, financial literacy, and independent living skills to teens in need. Until now, POPS operated out of borrowed spaces like schools and churches. This new building, complete with offices, classrooms, a conference room, a break room, and a food pantry, will allow POPS to expand and improve its life-changing services.

🌟 Looking Ahead
With its new home, POPS is committed to becoming one of Tulsa’s leading youth resources, reaching more schools, churches, and universities to support at-risk teens.
