Just the Basics, A West Tulsa Church Is Giving Shoes to Those Who Need Them Most

West Tulsa Free Will Baptist Church

Everyone needs a good fitting pair of shoes they can feel confident in, especially kids getting in their steps who are in need.

  • New Shoes, New Confidence: It’s tough to think that some families have to choose between putting food on the table or getting a new pair of shoes for back to school. Unfortunately it’s a decision many families in Tulsa are faced with. That’s why West Tulsa Free Will Baptist Church is collecting donations for shoes to give to children who need some kicks at Eugene Field Elementary.

  • Kicks for Christmas: Church leaders went to the school to measure the students' feet to know exactly what to purchase. They found that some of the kids were wearing shoes that are too small or too big. This shoe drive will provide a pair under the Christmas tree. If you are willing and able to help the cause, the church is asking for new shoes to be dropped off no later than November 30th.
