Prism Cafe’ Celebrates First Year of Serving Tulsa Heights Neighborhood
There’s a new-ish restaurant in The Heights neighborhood and it offers a full spectrum of sun powered nourishment.
Modern Menu: Prism Cafe is a quaint little Heights restaurant that serves up brunch, lunch and dinner with hyper-local garden-sourced food, natural wine. They have a little area to shop apothecary goods while you are there.
Destination for Delectable Dining: Chef Aimee Hunter has been a personal chef for 14 years. She’s cooked everywhere from New York City to rural Maine and was thrilled to open up her own hot spot in Tulsa. She specializes in sandwiches and you won’t want to miss the Italian Melt, The Brisket, or The Melted Brie Apple complete with avocado and a brilliant balsamic reduction.

Education
Tulsa Community College Awarded $3.7M Research Grant
Tulsa Community College is thankful for the Feds as it counts on a big grant award for students who need a hand.
Look it Up Dear: New this week, TCC officials announced $3.7M is on the way as part of the U.S. Department of Education's Postsecondary Student Success Grant. It is the largest federal grant in TCC's history and it will be aimed at research. About 500 students who declare a social science major will be chosen for additional assistance, such as laptops.
Stop Drop-out: The research grant will be used to study how to better assist first-year, low-income students, and curb dropout rates. TCC officials said they want to help students reach their goals and this money will help in a big way. 7 more faculty members will also be hired with the additional cash flow.

Justin Timberlake to Perform at Tulsa’s BOK Center
J.T. is turning up the heat this summer as he takes the BOK Center Stage.
Suit and Tie: For the first time in 5 years, Justin Timberlake is touring! He’s ‘gonna show us a good thing’ on Thursday, June 6th. The announcement was made during an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
Sunshine in My Pocket: The ‘Forget Tomorrow World Tour‘ will include 22 cities. Justin Timberlake fans can plan to ‘dance dance dance dance’ to songs from his upcoming album ‘Everything I Thought It Was’ which releases March 15th.
