Tulsa CRNA Grads Soar into High-Demand Positions

The Journal Record

The University of Tulsa's Oxley College has churned out its latest batch of certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), and they're already being swept off their feet with multiple job offers.

  • Program With A Pulse: In response to a critical regional need, Tulsa’s three-year CRNA program began in 2020 and is now seeing its graduates advance to high-demand positions. From California to Kentucky, 150 nurses applied, but only 20 made the cut each year. The result? Fourteen talented CRNAs are now heading to various healthcare centers, and it's just the beginning of this program that aims to pump life into local healthcare.

  • Diverse & Driven Graduates: Meet Brittany Minor, a U.S. Navy reservist turned CRNA, or Lucien Ngochi from Cameroon, who's embracing a career path that's often underrepresented by men. These graduates embody diversity, inclusion, and an unwavering commitment to patient care, setting new precedents in an already exciting field.
