AAA Route 66 Road Fest Free Ticket Vouchers Released Today
It’s the greatest tribute to the Mother Road around! The AAA Route 66 Road Fest is coming to Tulsa June 22nd and June 23rd and free ticket vouchers are released today.
Slow Ride: Step back in time or back to the future at the AAA Route 66 Road Fest! It’s an immersive experience that takes you through the decades of the historic Mother Road. See the actors, the cars, and the memories as you travel along America’s most enduring treasure. Organizers will announce free voucher pick-up locations in Tulsa and Claremore.
Kids and Kicks: There are loads of activities for the whole family like miniature golf, Hot Wheels races, a car show, the Pinewood Derby, interactive art and the virtual reality arena. Experience the sights, sounds, and people of Route 66 from the 1920s straight through to today and even a bit of tomorrow. So go ahead and get your kicks along the wonderful Route 66!

Tulsa Air and Space Museum Launches New Playground
This new playground will have kids of all ages launching into summer fun.
Out of This World: Tulsa Air and Space Museum just added a brand new rocket-themed playground! It is packed with toys for everyone. Toddlers and big kids can jump, swing, hide and immerse themselves into orbit themed play. It is conveniently placed near the Tulsa International Airport runway offering kids an exciting view of planes taking off and landing while they play.
Take Flight: Tulsa Air and Space Museum and Planetarium offers lots of summer family fun. Step inside the planes, see the history of flight or join the parent-child Summer Dance Party at the museum where the mission is to honor the past and inspire the future.

Gathering Place Announces More Free Daily Activities
There’s something free to do for the family every day of the week at Gathering Place.
Dog Days: Summer is near and before you sign your kiddo up for camp, think about free fun in the sun at Gathering Place. Monday offers free skills and drills Volleyball training presented by OU Health. Tuesdays and Thursdays are for free fitness in the park. Wednesdays and Sundays are for all day dog play in the park. There will be an EMSA 50th Anniversary celebration Wednesday the 22nd.
Gather for Greatness: Friday morning features Global Gatherings and Friday night is movie night featuring "Ratatouille." Tiny Tulsa can be experienced on Saturday mornings. It’s a sensory inclusive free play program featuring low lighting, soothing sounds, creative toys and art activities.

Tulsa’s Big Brothers Big Sisters Ramps Up Search for Mentors
It takes very little to be big. That’s the vibe at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma and leaders say you might be perfect for the job.
Bring on the Bruh: Tulsa’s Big Brothers Big Sisters pairs children in need of mentoring with a grown-up who has the skills to care, teach and connect. The pair will spend time together going to events and working toward positive ways to solve life’s little problems.
Sister From Another Mister: There are about 250 children in Oklahoma who have had adverse childhood experiences who could use a mentor. Children ages 6 to 16 can be a part of the program that is without enough ‘bigs’ right now. Think you might qualify? BBBS leaders say the time obligation is minimal but makes a big impact.
