Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office

Thursday is a big day for 22 Tulsa Tech criminal justice students who will be sworn in as Detention Officers in the largest graduating class ever.

  • Swearing in for Safety: TCSO is honored to bring the graduates on board. Fifteen of the graduates who have already turned 18 will begin working in the jail next month. Working in the jail gives them valuable experience and training they can use throughout their law enforcement career.

  • Partners on Patrol: The partnership between TCSO and Tulsa Tech’s Criminal Justice Program creates job opportunities right out of high school, while also helping the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office to ease the manpower crisis at the jail.
