Skiatook Pioneer Day Festival
Skiatook is rolling out the red carpet for its annual Pioneer Day Festival, a three-day celebration of the town’s history and community spirit! From carnival rides and food trucks to live music, parades, pageants, and the legendary rodeo, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Saturday is the biggest day, with events running morning to night in Central Park.

Drillers Claim Spot in Texas League Playoffs
⚾ The Tulsa Drillers are playoff-bound! After clinching their spot in the Texas League postseason, they’re set to battle the Springfield Cardinals in a best-of-three North Division Series. Game one kicks off at ONEOK Field — let’s pack the stands and cheer them on! The Drillers will host the Cardinals for game one of the North Division Series on Tuesday night at ONEOK Field with first pitch set for 7:00 p.m. Game two and, if necessary, game three of that series will be played in Springfield on Thursday (6:35 p.m.) and Friday (7:05 p.m.) nights.

New USS Oklahoma Submarine Set to Join Fleet
🚢 The name “USS Oklahoma” is making its return to the U.S. Navy after more than 80 years. The new Block 5 Virginia-class submarine will be christened in 2026 and commissioned in 2027, carrying forward the honor of Oklahoma’s WWII legacy. Local company QuikTrip is helping fund scholarships for the crew with a $1 million matching gift.
