The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office is Making a Big Move

The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office will house the same great community service under a new roof.

  • Investigative Ingenuity: TCSO officially opened its new headquarters located at East 66th Street North near the Tulsa Police Department Training center Thursday. The new complex will house the department’s administration services, evidence rooms and a media center for interviewing.

  • Detective Destination: The new, yet-to-be-named complex came in under budget and took $1.5M from CARES Act money and $10.5M from the American Rescue Plan Act. Sheriff Regalado says he’s been working toward this move since he took office in 2016 and expects to be in the building by end of year.

Santa Claus is Coming to Tulsa Christmas Parade

The Tulsa Christmas Parade is almost 100 years old and organizers say it gets bigger and better every year.

  • Move Along Scrooge: The Tulsa Christmas parade has been dazzling spectators since 1926 and this year it’s expected to be merry and bright. It all happens in downtown Tulsa on Saturday Dec. 9th and you are invited to enter a float or soak in the magic from the side of the street.

  • Poised for the Parade: The parade starts and 11a with a rockin’ around the Chrsitmas tree route and there’s a raffle this year that could win you thousands! The ‘Split the Pot’ raffle benefits ‘Soldiers Wish’ and the Tulsa Christmas Parade. Buy a ticket and if your name gets drawn, you get half the cash!

Tulsa Based Venture Capital Firm Announces $105M Partnership

Regent Capital Corp. is entering an investment deal with Tulsa-based FortySix Venture Capital (“46VC”) and Oklahoma City-based Cortado Ventures.

  • Technically Speaking: Regent Bank hopes to bring a new level of participation in the rapidly developing Oklahoma tech ecosystem in and generate more interest from the traditional local investor community. The newly announced partnership allows for opportunity for additional well-paying jobs in a win-win scenario.

  • Dedicated Funding: The partnership funding vehicles include 46VC’s $25M Kinetic Fund, which targets Energy Tech, HealthTech and Digital Transformation; and, Cortado Ventures’ $80M Fund dedicated to enterprise tech in energy and logistics, life sciences, and the future of work. Both funds have committed a good portion of their investment capital to go to Oklahoma-based tech startups.
