Check it out! Tulsa City-County Library wants business owners to soar and they won’t stop short of offering free classes to help make it happen.

  • Nobody is Saying Shhhhh About This One: You may have to keep the volume down in the library book isles, but a new program called Grow Academy is being shouted from the rooftops. If you have a library card and a small business, you are in!

  • 2 Power Hours a Week : The Grow Academy will take place from October 2023 to August 2024 and will allow 50 people to learn how to start or develop a small business. Participants get to hear from industry experts along with a wonderful workbook of resources to keep. Classes will be monthly on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon at Central Library.

Skate On Over to Tulsa’s Newest Restaurant Bar and You Won’t Miss a Single Score

Puck’s Sports Bar and Grill

Puck’s Sports Bar and Grill won’t just offer great food and drinks but owners promise you won’t miss any major televised sporting events.

  • The Gang’s All Here! Pucks Sports Bar and Grill by Yuengling at the WeStreet Ice Center will start serving up the sauce sometime before 2024. At 12,000 square feet, with more than a dozen TV’s, full restaurant and bar services, and full arcade, it will seat over 350 people.

  • Ice Ice Baby: WeStreet Ice Center will be the new home to the Tulsa Oilers hockey team. The facility is being constructed in what used to be a Macy’s Department Store at Tulsa’s recently closed Promenade Mall. The two ice rink facility is on target to open late this year.

  • Nice Numbers: Each solution winner received at least $10,000 of unrestricted funding. Totem was selected by Solve’s expert judges from a pool of over 1,500 applicants from over 120 countries and over 100 unique Indigenous communities.

It’s All Greek to Me! ‘Opa-Homa’ Dances Into the Weekend With Performances and Plenty of Food

When organizers say this is THE event of the season, they aren’t talking about a ‘Big Fat Greek Wedding.’ The Tulsa Greek Festival kicks off Thursday.

  • Dining or Dancing? Yes! You can do both at this year’s Opa-Homa! Bring the whole family to 12th and Guthrie for the 3 day event full of incredible food and live music and dancing at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

  • Eat the Fries, Do the 5-K: It’s all about balance, right? There’s a Toga 5K and fun run happening as part of the Greek Festival and all runners will receive $10 in Opa-Bucks to spend on festival food and drinks. A kid-zone runs the course of the festival and a ‘Lord of the Fries’ contest happens Saturday. Who can eat the most fries?
