McNellie’s Group Opens 2 New Midtown Tulsa Restaurants

Tulsa Daily

The new Maple Ridge Grocer restaurant is the best ‘little’ brunch diner with your family, and holds a ‘Madmen’ vibe for dinners in the evening.

  • Pretty in Pink: Maple Ridge Grocer is so new, you can’t find the full menu online, but we’ve got some scoop. If you want to enjoy an upscale, vintage, greasy spoon type diner this is the place. The new hot spot sits in the walkable Maple Ridge Neighborhood near 18th and Cincinnati and has been open for almost a week.

  • Full Belly: We tried the Salmon burger with arugula, avocado and teriyaki mayo. It comes with fries shaped like little scoopers for ketchup and that didn’t go unnoticed by the kids who where already blown away by the good old fashioned Kraft Mac n’ Cheese. Add in a few mimosas and “The Gem,” a quinoa salad, and the whole family is smiling.

The second restaurant is Bishop Quigley’s next door. Look for a write up on that tomorrow!

Tulsa Daily’s Guide to Some of our Favorite Pizza Spots in T-Town

Dante’s Woodfire Pizza

Just in time to accompany your new years resolution, the team at Tulsa Daily put together a list of some of our must try pizza joints in Tulsa.

  • On the List: Starting with one of our personal favorites, East Village Bohemian Pizza. With ingredients directly imported from Italy, and directly sourced produce from local farmers in the greater Tulsa area its tough to beat. Another one of our more unknown spots is Dante’s Woodfire Pizza. Its a food truck in downtown with no website. Its the grittiness we love.

  • Not to Go Unnoticed: A few others we had to have on our list were: Upper Crust Woodfire Pizza, which is more of an upscale restaurant. Prairie Fire Pie on Cherry Street, and any of Andolini’s Pizzeria also located on Cherry Street and other locations in the area.

We recommend trying them, but maybe not all at once. See the full list HERE.
