St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Events Planned for Tulsa

Kilkenny’s Irish Pub

If you are in the mood for a little green beer, an Irish jig and some block parties on a warm-ish weekend, you are in luck!

  • Pot of Gold: Kilkenny’s Block Party will take over parts of Cherry Street Sunday at 11a. It will have live music, and food by Nola's Creole and Cocktails, Alley Cat Ranch BBQ, and of course, Kilkenny's own delicious spread. The little leprechauns can enjoy the kid zone bounce house and face painting.

  • Meet me at McNellies: McNellie’s Pub is celebrating its 20th year in business with a week long list of events that started Monday. They’ll hold collaboration dinners with other McNellies Group restaurants tonight and Thursday. You can sign up for Beer University With Elliot (the owner) on Friday. There’s a free pre-block party Saturday and the main event happens Sunday where all ages are welcome until 6pm.

Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office Reports Success in Hiring Efforts

The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office had a big recruiting week while on the search for law enforcement’s finest men and women.

  • You’ve Got the Job: TSCO takes pride in hiring some of the most exceptional trainers in the nation who are dedicated to equipping you with comprehensive knowledge in law enforcement. About 150 people stopped by a job fair hosted by Tulsa World and OSU-Tulsa. TSCO reports having some success with 8 possible detention officer applicants and about 30 people expressing interest in clerk positions and possible deputy openings.

  • Ladies of Law Enforcement: Female deputies had the privilege of being invited as guest speakers to OU’s Women in the Workforce panel during this Women’s History Month. The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office offers a lot of bang for their buck with competitive salary and benefits.

Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Makes First Time Stop at BOK Center

Parents can earn some serious cool points with this one. Not only are the Hot Wheel Monster Trucks rolling in, but they’ll bring a glow in the dark party with them.

  • Bro Out: It doesn’t get much more manly than this. You’ve got engines roaring, jacked up trucks jumping and a visit from the transforming robot TRANSAURUS. Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Glow Party is coming to Tulsa for the first time ever!

  • Revved Up: The show happens March 16th and 17th and your kiddos favorites like Mega Wrex, Tiger Shark and Demo Derby will be there. The Glow Party production features a laser light show, spectacular theatrical effects, dance parties, and Hot Wheels toy giveaways.

Lace Up for Luck at the 2024 St. Patrick’s Day Run Hosted by RunnersWorld

The RunnersWorld St. Particks Day Run will pound Peoria Avenue’s pavement Saturday.

  • Go for the Pot of Gold: The 41st annual RunnersWorld St. Patrick’s Day Run is here! It has a history of being one of the top 5K races in Oklahoma, and has a tradition of kicking off the racing season for runners in Oklahoma. Both the 5K and 1 mile run will start and finish at RunnersWorld Tulsa at 39th & Peoria. All registered runners will receive a medal and the first 1,000 runners get a free t-shirt.

  • Party at the Finish Line: Stick around after the race to enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day festivities. See the really fast runners get their awards, do an Irish jig at the DJ Booth, enjoy a free beer and stop by the photo booth. All proceeds benefit Special Olympics Oklahoma and Tulsa Running Club.
