Shhhh, This Bash is the Bee’s Knees! Oklahoma Performing Arts Hosts Speakeasy ‘Fun’ Raiser

You’ll have to know a secret saying to get into this Gatsby event. You’ll also need a giving heart for the youngest of Tulsa’s performing artists.

• Calling All Guys and Dolls: It’s time to don your deco rags and do the charleston on over to ‘Art 2.0 Beyond the Barre.’ It’s a fundraiser aimed at providing Tulsa Performing Arts students with skills that go far beyond dancing. OPA aims to also develop strong problem solving, time-management, goal setting and social skills.

• A Roaring Good Time: The Saturday evening event will offer dinner, drinks, dancing, and a performance by award winning opera and pianist professionals. Event organizers say that as little as $15 keeps a young performing artist in class for one year. That’s something to roar about!
