City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Launches New Way to Highlight Adoptable and Lost Pets
Tulsa Animal Welfare pets want you to say “be mine” and there’s a new way to see what furry friends might best suit your home.
Take Me Home, Love: TAW barked about the launch of its new online platform for viewing adoptable animals. It’s called 24Petconnect and it allows animal lovers to view TAW’s adoptable animals from the comfort of their own homes.
Welcome Back Home: The platform also features animals that have been picked up within the past three days and are on a stray hold to help reunite lost pets with their owners. It details where they were found along with identifying traits. Talk about a convenient way to add furry loved ones to the family.

Tulsa Designers Create Love for the Laundry Room
While most of us loathe laundry, the designers at Tulsa Home+Design know how to make it more fun.
Pretty in Pink: It’s a cycle to celebrate! This newly added laundry room is a favorite at Tulsa Home+Design. Fold in some floral ceiling paper, a glam light fixture, quartzite countertops, floor to ceiling shelf organization with some pops of pink, and any laundry lady or gentleman is up for a rinse. Sit in the office nook during the spin cycle and wash your work away.
Your Turn to Transform: If you’ve been in the mood for a mess-less mudroom, kitchen, bathroom renovation, laundry room or even a new-to-you home, the team at Tulsa Home+Design can help you! They’ll guide you through buying, selling, designing and renovating the perfect space for the whole family.
Education
Tulsa Community College Awarded $3.7M Research Grant
Tulsa Community College is thankful for the Feds as it counts on a big grant award for students who need a hand.
Look it Up Dear: TCC officials announced $3.7M is on the way as part of the U.S. Department of Education's Postsecondary Student Success Grant. It is the largest federal grant in TCC's history and it will be aimed at research. About 500 students who declare a social science major will be chosen for additional assistance, such as laptops.
Stop Drop-out: The research grant will be used to study how to better assist first-year, low-income students, and curb dropout rates. TCC officials said they want to help students reach their goals and this money will help in a big way. 7 more faculty members will also be hired with the additional cash flow.

Restaurant
New Restaurant Opens in Bartlesville Contributing to Business Boom
There’s another restaurant open in downtown Bartlesville and the pizza’s are on fire!
Oh Lollipop: Lollipops Woodfire and Grocer is in its second week of operation and the food is flying off the shelves. Not only can you grab and go some staples for the house like homemade jam, salsa and breads, but you can have a lunch with the family or a date night with signature cocktails. We recommend the Harvest Moon pizza that reminds us of the famous movie shot just down the road.
Throw Some Wood on The Fire: Lollipops is the third business on the bustling corner near Dewey Avenue and 3rd Street owned and operated by David and Adrienne Kallweit. Palace Rooms sits just next door. It’s a swanky speakeasy vibe that is perfect for brunch, a night out, or a lunch with the office crew. Up top are some great Airbnb spaces and some super cool apartments for rent. Staycation anyone?
See the new Lollipops menu HERE.
