Tulsa Ranks High for Most Affordable Rent

Tulsa Daily

There’s plenty of reason to call Tulsa home with our thriving downtown, great cost of living, and central location for travel. Now, we’ve made the top 5 for most space for your cost of rent.

  • Room to Grow: Whether you prefer a downtown loft or a midtown bungalow, Tulsa has options, but how do we get the most for our dollar? RentCafe broke it down by using the national rent average of $1700 per month and studied 1600 cities.

  • Show Me the Square Footage: Oklahoma City is 2nd on the list for most living space for your dollar and Tulsa comes in at 5th. Some on the list offer sprawling spaces near 1,900 sq ft for this budget, while others squeeze you into only 200 sq ft. On average, a $1,700 budget will get you 944 sq ft in the US.

From jalapeño bacon tamales to fiesta black bean, you have options from this home kitchen restaurant. Pamales Tamales is in the heart of the Farm Shopping Center for dine in, or carryout and delivery.

  • How Sweet: Owner Pamela Hoover started her tamale making adventure in 2012 when she was given a bushel of tomatillos and no idea what to do with them. She now offers 36 flavors of tamales including dessert tamales like Reese's, Cherry Cheesecake, and Oreo.
