Tulsa Curling Club Grows in Popularity

Tulsa Curling Club

It’s time to do some curls. Not the ones you’ll find in the gym, but the ones you’ll find on the ice.

  • Olympic Treasure in T-Town: You’ve probably heard about curling since it’s growth and attention from the Olympics. The winter team sport is now a thing in Tulsa. Tulsa’s Curling Club operates out of the Tulsa Oilers Ice Arena but will soon move to the new WeStreet Ice Center.

  • Frozen Fun: TulsaPeople featured the Tulsa Curling Club and its growth in membership. There are now 90 members who participate in curling activities by offering instruction, training, practice, and league play since the club’s founding in 2012. The US won the Olympic gold medal in Feb of 2018 and that sparked the uptick in members of all skill levels.
