Start spreading the news! Tulsa’s Paris Simone Sherra Epps is back from the Big Apple with the scoop on Fashion Week.

  • Runway Ready: She’s already won the title of Tiny Miss Princess of America and now Paris Epps can say she’s modeled in the biggest fashion week in the world. Paris is the first African American to receive the title and there’s no stopping the 2nd Grader from Tulsa.

  • Tiny and Determined: She also won divisional titles for Casual Wear and Activewear, second runner-up for most Photogenic, a Top 10 Superstar finalist award and the winner in Best Interview, Best Smile, and Miss Personality. As part of her winnings, she hit the runway as the youngest (7) model in the Ava Presley show, but she said that didn’t intimidate her.

Dozens of Jobs are Coming to Muskogee as a Cryptocurrency Mining Business is Built

A $100M investment is going into Muskogee bringing dozens of tech jobs to the area.

  • It’s Cryptic: A 200-megawatt data center is being built in the John T. Griffin Industrial Park in Muskogee. It requires a lot of power.

    The data center, built by Polaris Technology, is mostly made up of containers that house super-computers that solve complex puzzles to mine Bitcoin.

  • Power Up: The company hopes the data center’s capacity can eventually be extended to 400MW. Port Muskogee recently installed a new 1,000MW electricity substation nearby. Muskogee mayor Marlon Coleman said, “Polaris Technologies’ investment aligns with our vision to become a hub for high-tech, living wage jobs.” About 20 Jobs will initially be created.
