Fall for These Destinations Perfect for a Fall Break Road Trip

Explore Branson
As F. Scott Fitzgerald once said, "Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall." If you did not catch on above, we’re ready for the heat to be gone. Unfortunately, we can’t control the weather, so we have taken to planning our fall road trip instead, and this guide made it much easier.
Branson, Missouri: Experience a vintage-style retreat at the Ozarker Lodge, with hot tubs by the creek, fire pits, and more. Silver Dollar City's Harvest Festival (Sept. 16-Oct. 28) is just a stone's throw away, where artisans, nighttime illuminations, and family fun beckons.
Dallas: From a famed state fair with live music, rides, and Big Tex selfies (Sept. 29-Oct. 23) to glamping in a Santa Fe Boxcar near Dinosaur Valley State Park, Dallas brings the heat for every road-tripper - the nature junkie, tourist, or family needing a change in scenery. Add a historic visit to Glen Rose or the pumpkin festival at the Dallas Arboretum (Sept. 16-Nov. 5), and you've got a Texas-sized vacation.
