Tulsa's Fall Festivities Merge Scottish Tunes with Haunted Moons

Castle of Muskogee

Bid adieu to those hot summer days and say hello to the cozy embrace of fall! (Ha! You’re right! That’s silly! It’ll be hot until the end of time.) Regardless, Tulsa is gearing up for the season with festivals that promise fun for the entire family.

  • Scotfest (Sept 15-17): Located at Broken Arrow Events Park, this event is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in Scottish culture with Highland games, live music, and a medley of dance. Kiddo-friendly activities? They've got that covered, too! At a minimum, you have an opportunity to wear that kilt from your gothic punk rock fusion phase in high school.

  • Halloween Festival at Castle of Muskogee (Fridays and Saturdays, Sept 29-Oct 28): This festival is a cornucopia of both enchantment and eerie! Little ones can enjoy the Halloweenland and Enchanted Boardwalk, while thrill-seekers can face make-believe horrors on the Trail of Blood. (Don’t invite us. We’re not scared. We just already have plans.)
