We’ve said it before, but we’re saying it again: We’ve got a great lineup this weekend, guys.
Giddy Up: Celebrate the National Day of the Cowboy on July 22nd, from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, where Western culture comes alive with live performances, cowboy-themed games, storytelling, re-enactments, and interactive demonstrations.
Ariel Making More Waves: Theatre Tulsa presents Disney's The Little Mermaid JR., a magical undersea journey at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center from July 24th to 28th. Performances start at 7:30 pm, with a matinee at 2:00 pm on the final day.
Weekend In The Garden: Get down in the garden for the grand opening of the Stanford Family Liberty Garden and Bumgarner Family Foundation Lotus Pool from July 21st-23rd. Enjoy half-price admission with food donations, explore garden tours, enjoy food from the Garden of Eatin', and join the members' opening party with live music and lawn games at the Tulsa Botanic Garden.
Retail Therapy: Join the Grand Opening Celebration of Painted Tree Boutiques on Saturday, July 22nd, from 10 am - 8 pm, located at 8281 S Harvard Ave. for a day filled with exclusive sales, refreshments, champagne, live music, and an array of gifts, decor, and fashion selections.
Boozeday: Mark your calendars for the Tulsa Margarita & Mimosa Fest on Saturday, July 22nd, from 1 pm - 7 pm at Elote Cafe & Catering. This part-bar-hop, part-summer-cocktail-celebration features five participating venues offering $4 Dos Equis, $4 Quirk Hard Seltzer, $4 Fresh Mimosa, and $6 hand-crafted Milagro Margarita specials.
Saturday At The Expo: Get ready for a treasure hunt at the annual collaborative event between Tulsa Flea Market and the Tulsa Antique & Bottle Club on Saturday, July 22nd, from 8 am - 4 pm. Cultural Can’t-Miss: Don’t miss the 71st Annual Tulsa Powwow taking place from July 22nd to 23rd at the Cox Business Convention Center. This two-day event, organized by the Tulsa Indian Club/Tulsa Powwow, invites all dancers and drums.
Score: On Friday, July 21st, FC Tulsa can tie their franchise record with a five-match winning streak as they face off against Rio Grande Valley FC Toros at 8 p.m. In addition to the game, attendees can enjoy Christmas in July festivities and $1 Beer Night at ONEOK Field.
Mobiles For A Cause: From July 21st-23rd, the Slamboree 2023 Truck, Car, & Bike Show supporting Toys for Tots will take place at the Osage Casino Hotel. Spectator passes cost $10 with a toy donation or $15 without, while vehicle registration is $45. The show runs from 12-5 pm on Friday, 8 am-5 pm on Saturday, and 8 am-2 pm on Sunday, with awards given at 2 pm that day.
For The Shopaholics: On Saturday, July 22nd, from 10 am to 4 pm, Sassy Shiny is hosting a craft fair at Happy Acres Cowboy Church featuring a variety of vendors selling handmade and boutique items, hourly door prizes, and a mounted shooting event for additional entertainment.
