Plans to Develop 56 Acres in North Tulsa Progress Forward

After more than 40 public meetings, an advisory committee will be established to oversee plans to develop Tulsa’s Kirkpatrick Heights.

  • Draw Up a Plan: Work to redevelop 56 acres of land currently owned by the City and Tulsa Development Authority is one step closer with the formation of the committee that will help implement the Kirkpatrick Heights Greenwood Master Plan.

  • Join the Team: The Master Plan has been approved by the Tulsa City Council and includes mixed use ideas that ensure the social and economic benefits of redevelopment captured by the local community. 7 to 9 members will sit on the advisory committee and will be in place by late 2024 or early 2025.

  • I’d Like to Thank: The James Beard Awards were established in 1990 and recognize exceptional talent and achievement in the culinary arts, hospitality, media and broader food system. Nominees demonstrated commitment to equity, community, and sustainability. The 2024 Restaurant and Chef winners will be announced in Chicago June 10th.
