It’s Global Entrepreneurship Week in Tulsa and the Events are Stacked
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) established business owners and those mulling it over are invited to take part.
Sensational Startups: GEW is an initiative to celebrate and empower every entrepreneurs especially those who face structural barriers or may have never considered the idea of launching a startup. Each November, 10M people across the world take part to be inspired to act on their dreams and provide them with the knowledge, experience and connections needed to succeed.
Connections and Calendar: Tulsa’s Global Entrepreneurship Week is hosted by 36°N and they’ve got a stellar line-up of events that include learning how your business can make a news headline, venture capital in Tulsa, and the downtown food scene. There are more than 30 events planned through Friday and they are all free.

Vincent Van Gogh’s Finest Works are Coming to Life in Tulsa
Have you ever dreamed of stepping into a painting? Now is your chance with the Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience.
Amazing Art: Beyond Van Gogh is a wonderful way to Immerse yourself in a 360º experience where you'll wonder through the life and works of the most famous Dutch artist in history. It will take you about an hour and a half to get through the exhibit you won’t soon forget.
Experience Excellence: The Immersive experience opens Saturday at the all-new Exhibition Hub Tulsa Art Center which is just off I-44 at 51st Street. You’ll get to travel through eight Van Gogh works including their source of inspiration in "A Day in the Life of the Artist in Arles France.”

Broken Arrow Residents Will Vote on a $52M Bond Proposal for Schools
Voting begins tomorrow and the district needs a 60% “yes” in order for the funding to become available.
Big Plans: There are four separate questions on the Nov. 14th ballot. If the measure passes, school leaders have big plans. They’ll start with new technology for the classrooms and improved security measures at the Broken Arrow Public Schools.
What Voters Need to Know: The district outlines some frequently asked questions on the BA Public Schools website. District leaders say that citizens will not see a tax increase but will be voting whether to keep the current tax rate in place. If the measure passes, all improvements would happen over the next five years.

5 Companies Graduating From a Cherokee Women Accelerator Program are Unveiled

The Cherokee Nation, along with The University of Tulsa’s Collins College of Business and StitchCrew unveiled five companies graduating from the Cherokee Women Accelerator.
Reliable Resources: The CWA is a program designed to expand access to resources to help indigenous women grow or launch a business.
Girl Power: The five graduates are Provision Pantry, a food service company founded, Motor Mouth Therapy, an on-site therapy services company, Because I'm A Nurse, a company tackling the nurse labor shortage, ClaimRev, a claims processing and tribal mobile health company, and Jobworx, a company reinventing the way employers and job seekers connect.

Natural Bath & Soap Company Opens Second Location in Tulsa

Magnolia Soap and Bath Company
Magnolia Soap and Bath Company is a successful shop founded by a business minded mama with a child who has sensitive skin.
Squeaky Clean: Where else can you design your own natural soaps just in time for holiday gift giving but Magnolia Soap and Bath Company. With two locations, one at Woodland Hills Mall and another on Cherry Street, the store offers pre-made soaps and bath products.
Suds in the Bucket: The Tulsa franchise was started by Magen Bynum. It was born out of her desire to find plant based soap products for her daughter’s sensitive skin in 2016. Her journey led her to find that most soaps can often cause dryness and skin irritation. The shop uses only domestically sourced, naturally grown ingredients in each recipe.
