🎆 Independence Day Events

  • When: Thursday, July 2, 6–9:30 p.m. (fireworks at ~9:15 p.m.)

  • Where: Carbondale Assembly of God, 2135 W 51st St

  • Why it's great: Family-friendly fireworks with a local church sponsoring it.

  • When: Friday, July 3, 6–9 p.m. (fireworks at 9 p.m.)

  • Where: 1835 S 129th E Ave

  • Why: Another safe, community-focused fireworks show just in time for the weekend.

  • When: Thursday, July 4, 6:30–10:30 a.m. -Staging from 5:15–10:30 a.m., Course closed 7:00–9:30 a.m.

  • Where: 418 E. 2nd St., Tulsa

  • Why it’s worth it: Hosted by Fleet Feet Sports, the event draws thousands of runners and walkers for a high-energy downtown route.

🎨 Markets 

  • When: Wednesday, July 2, 4:30–7:30 p.m.

  • Where: 600 S Main St

  • Why: A vibrant market for shopping local crafts, snacks, and live tunes

  • When: Wednesday, July 2, 8–11 a.m.

  • Where: 1 S Lewis Ave

  • Why: Fresh produce and artisan finds—great for a morning stop.

🎬 Family-Friendly Fun

  • When: Thursday, July 3, 1:30–3:45 p.m.

  • Where: Circle Cinema, 10 S Lewis Ave

  • Why: Free matinee screening—perfect low-cost entertainment for families.
