Here Are 10 of the Favorite Places We Ate in 2023

Tulsa Daily

We are foodies around here and we thought you’d enjoy some of our Favorite Restaurants in Tulsa.

  • 🥗 Bring the Brussels: Jimmy’s Chop House is new on Brookside and we can’t get over the savory yet oh so sweet Brussels Sprouts. Pair them with a nice steak and a good red wine, and you’ve found your sweet spot.

  • 🍷 Something to Wine About: Vintage Wine Bar’s velvet couches are worth the visit alone but have you tried their wines and cheese plates? Checkout their happy hour as you might find your favorite cocktail or bubbly.

  • 🌮 In Love with Leftovers: Tres Tequilas on Brookside serves the sauce fast and hot. It’s a great place to take the whole family for a quick meal that always results in a to-go bag. We like the Carlos Special.

  • 🧅 Put a Ring on It: Stonehorse Cafe brings people in for the best french onion soup in town. The Brussels Sprout salad is always a hit and you can never go wrong with the perfectly crunchy onion rings. They brought the original recipe back!

  • 🎠 Meet Me By the Fireplace: Polo Grill has a five and dime happy hour menu that starts at 3:30 on weekdays and it packs a punch. Yes, that’s $5 wine and $10 appetizers. Our personal favorite, the sausage skillet queso.

  • 🥩 You Had Me at Meat: Ok, it’s a grocery store but it’s more! Reasor’s Chop House has some of the best fried chicken, soups and mac and cheese. Eat it there or take it home.

  • 🍔 Chip Me: McNellies Brew Pub may be known for the largest wall of beer choices in downtown Tulsa, but did you know they make a killer nacho plate? It’s one of the newer choices on the menu.

  • 🥑 Toast on the Square: Wildfork has a delicious avocado toast topped with an egg any way you want it. Add a side of crispy bacon and a mimosa and you’ve found brunch brilliance.

  • 🇮🇹 Pasta Perfection: The pasta is on and perfect over at Mondos. Just ask owner Debbie Aloisio. She says the chicken pomodoro is her favorite and we agree.

  • 🕶 Don’t Forget Your Sunnies: Doc’s Wine and Food patio is the coziest little spot with a Brookside view to enjoy a salt rimmed margarita and the freshest oysters from both coasts.

The latest McNellies Group location is live with chicken poppin’ a little earlier than expected to meet your holiday orders.

  • Get Your Chicks on Route 66: Red Light Chicken moved from downtown Tulsa over to historic Route 66 at 1401 E. 11th St. The move went so smooth that the chef and crew did some early test runs. They say the food is ‘better than ever’ so they decided to open to the public last Friday.
