Gilcrease Museum Announces Plans to Continue Community Art Program in 2024

Gilcrease Museum

Gilcrease Museum may be closed for its $139M construction project but that’s not keeping it from showing off amazing art in your neck of the woods.

  • Art Walk: Gilcrease in Your Neighborhood just wrapped up its first year where more than 4,000 art junkies took part in 92 incredible programs outside museum doors. Part of this effort was strategically placed replicated art pieces in the community while the pieces can’t be displayed in the museum. The public art experience was such a hit, it’s coming back in 2024.

  • Interactive Enlightenment: Along with the pop-up art installations will be hands on community art events. Each location for live art has a QR code on display and that helped organizers track viewers. In 2023 it had around 350,000 views.

He’s the main chef for McNellies Group and he just helped open Maple Ridge Grocer and Bishop Quigleys. They are two neighboring hot spots in the Midtown Tulsa Maple Ridge Neighborhood.

  • Destination for Delectable Dining: If you haven’t tried Mr. Kims, we highly recommend you drop in. It sits in the heart of downtown Tulsa and offers the freshest meats and veggies you can cook right at the table. Medium rare anyone?
